All proceeds will be donated to the local BIPOC organisation Migrantifa Leipzig.

The Leipzig-based Balance/Club Culture Festival released its first festival sampler as a grand finale of the interdisciplinary multimedia Web Edition. The sampler goes hand in hand with the festival motto “Tender Squads”, focusing on allyship, interdisciplinarity, diversity and on deconstructing norms and questioning standards of discourse as well as artistic approaches and sound production.

The festival EP features 11 diverse tracks from various artists with different backgrounds. It is a genre-bending mix of various approaches to contemporary club culture such as Hard-Drum, Ambient, Rap, Electro and others. The latest addition is a fiery track by Lotic called “Flourish”. The talented DJ, multimedia artists and co-founder of the label JANUS describes her style as “the symbiosis of force and softness; the beat behind the drill of a parade honoring a strong and unpredictable Queen imprinting her mark into the ground to the beat of her own drum.”
